Toby Shulruff is a PhD candidate in the Human and Social Dimensions of Science and Technology program at Arizona State University. Her research focuses on the role of contemporary World Expos in shaping global futures. She works at the nexus of technology, people, and planet to build our collective capacity to understand, make choices about, and ultimately shape the technologies and systems that are woven into the fabric of our lives. She looks for traces of the World's Fairs everywhere she goes.
